Our primer, Sigmark Sealant Compound, is formulated to be less viscous and clear, which allows for better penetration and adhesion to concrete surfaces. Applying it with a roller may not provide sufficient penetration, resulting in a weak bond between the primer and the concrete. Additionally, the roller application method tends to leave a thicker and uneven layer of primer on the surface, which can lead to poor interlayer adhesion between the primer and the subsequently applied thermoplastic paint, Sigmark HMRM. This can cause the thermoplastic paint to peel or detach from the surface within a short period of time.
